COURSE CONTENT: Accounting concepts, principles, and procedures for the three types of businesses: sole proprietorship, partner-ship, and corporation. Manual as well as automated procedures will be learned.
ASSIGNMENTS: It can be expected there will be homework (when possible, time will be given in class). It cannot be stressed too strongly, keep up each day. If assigned work is not completed when you come to class, YOU WILL BE STAYING AFTER SCHOOL.
GRADING: At the end of each quarter the total points earned through daily work, quizzes, reinforcement activities, and major tests will be determined. A percentage grade will be found by comparing your total points with the total possible points. A comprehensive semester test will be given at the end of each semester. The semester test will be included with the 2nd and 4th quarter grade. The following grading scale will be used:

1 = 94 - 100
2 = 86 - 93
3 = 78 - 85
4 = 70 - 77
5 = 69 & Below
RETAKES: Anyone receiving below 70% on tests (except the semester test) or quizzes will be required to retake the test or quiz. The time used for the retakes will be before or after school. You will have one week for retakes. If the retake is not done within this time, you will receive the failing grade. The highest grade on any quiz or test that is redone will be a 70%.
