Accounting I presents the fundamental principles of accounting and is designed to emphasize the theory of accounting. The accounting cycle is presented as it pertains to proprietorships, partnerships, and corporations. Extensive accounting vocabulary and theory challenges students to develop skills they will use in life as well as a career in the business or accounting field, or as an entrepreneur of their own business. Accounting computer applications will be integrated throughout the course. NOTE: This is a Tech Prep class.
