COURSE CONTENT: “Life survival skills” such as checks, budgets, income tax, employment seeking activities (applications, interviews), credit, savings, insurance, etc.
WORK HABITS: BE ON TIME!
GRADING: At the end of each quarter the total points earned through daily work, quizzes, and major tests will be determined. A percentage grade will be found by comparing your total points with the total possible points. The following grading scale will be used:
1 = 94 - 100
2 = 86 - 93
3 = 78 - 85
4 = 70 - 77
5 = 69 & Below
RETAKES: Anyone receiving below 70% on tests or quizzes will be required to retake the test or quiz. The time used for the retakes will be before or after school. You will have one week for retakes. If the retake is not done within this time, you will receive the failing grade. The highest grade on any quiz or test that is redone will be a 70%.
