Teacher: Mr. Buller

First year German I is an introduction to the language. Students will learn to read, write, speak, and understand simple German. Much usable practical vocabulary is introduced at this level for students interested in travel or as background for further German study. Present tense is stressed at this level and much oral classroom work is necessary to develop correct sentence structure and pronunciation. Cultural information is also presented at this level.
