This course is designed for high school juniors and seniors as a preparation for college level mathematics. This course can be used as a fourth year of high school math to meet the prerequisite of four years of math that some colleges require. Students who take this class are generally those who do not plan on taking pre-calculus, either in high school or in college. Topics include linear and quadratic modeling, exponential and logarithmic functions, sequences and series, permutations and combinations, right triangle trigonometry, Law of Sines and Cosines, and an introduction to circular functions. Probability and Statistics topics will be studied throughout the curriculum as well.
