REQUIRED MATERIALS:
• Text Book
• Pencil
• Notebook or filler paper
• 3 Ring Binder
• Compass
• Scientific Calculator
(with the keys sin, cos, and tan)

Rules:
• Be prepared for class - You must bring your book, notebook, pencil,
calculator, compass and Geometer each day.
• Be on time - You must be through the doorway at the time the bell
rings or you will have a tardy.
• Do ALL work in Pencil
• YOU are responsible for YOUR actions - Have respect for others. Do
not talk when others are talking. Name calling, put downs, or
inappropriate language will not be tolerated.

Grading:
Your grade will be based on the following:
• Daily Homework - Each day I will check for completion on
homework assignments. Each assignment is worth 3 points.
One point will be deducted and a 30 minute detention will be given for each day the assignment is late.
• Tests - A test will follow each chapter worth 100 points.
• Quizzes - There will be a quiz at least once a week covering 2-4 sections. Point values
range from 10 to 40 points.
• Activities - There will be activities and/or projects throughout the
year. Point values will range from 10 to 50 points.
• Semester Final - There will be a final at the end of each semester, worth 10% of your semester grade.

Cheating:
Any form of cheating is not allowed and may result in one or more
of the following:
• completion of the assignment with little to no credit
• time after school
• office referral
• phone call to your parents

Absences:
Excused: For each day absent, you will have one day to complete make up work. If you know you are going to be absent, you must make up your work in advanced unless otherwise stated by me. If you fail to do this, points may be deducted for each day it is not handed in.

Unexcused: Work will need to be completed and may result in no
credit.

Late Work:
30 minute detentions will be assigned for homework not complete
by class time.

RE-TAKES:
Re-takes are allowed to students who fail a test, but will only be able to earn a 70% (passing grade). There will be no re-takes allowed on quizzes.
