This course is intended to give a brief introduction to physical science and
how it affects and enriches the world in which we live. Students will learn
and practice scientific skills of research and discovery in the classroom as
well as in the laboratory. Topics covered may be the relationship between matter
and energy, forces of nature, water, sound, light, waves, motion, technology,
and applied chemistry.
