Introduction:

The purpose of the "Career and College Planning Web Site" is to provide students and parents an overview of occupations and education, as well as high school planning. Certainly there is a wealth of information available in other sources; what we have done here is condensed that information into (hopefully) a usable format. In addition, we have included a listing of resources available should students and parents want to do further research.

Choosing a Career Path requires much thought and effort. Answers to career questions do not come easily at times. The material and worksheets presented are designed to help students organize their thoughts, summarize their experiences, and make some sense of their interests, skills, and goals--as well as explore the options available to them.

All addresses, web sites, phone numbers, etc., were current at the time of printing. The handbook will be updated on a yearly basis and any changes or corrections will be made at that time.
